This is not a travel blog. Okay, I know what you’re thinking. But it’s not.

A few years ago, I started writing a newsletter, of sorts. Every time I would go on a trip, my family and friends would want to know the what, when, where and why (they already knew the “who.”) So, I started sending out this newsletter, to answer all those questions.  But not all of my family and friends have email addresses or Facebook (guilty), or updated computers (I know) and so on, and so on. So, dutifully, I would start copying the newsletter and mail them via snail mail. Well, that turned into a hassle, so I just stopped sending out the newsletter. I still kept notes for myself, but didn’t do anything with them.

Then one day, I decided to start a blog. That way, all my notes would have a home and my family and friends could read about recent trips and see new pics without me getting involved.

So, this is not a travel blog.
